Incredible 5-Star experience with Maui Luxe Picnics! My husband and I, along with a few of our friends, enjoyed a leisurely sunset picnic put on by this amazing company in front of the hotel my friends were staying at in Wailea a few weeks ago. Maui Luxe Picnics setup a cozy and welcoming outdoor table, complete with parasols, rugs, comfy pillows and blankets, twinkle lights, candles, sparkling water and a delicious spread of appetizers and bites! I highly recommend them, you can see how the owners love what they do, and are very accommodating and creative. If you’re looking for something new or different to do while on Maui, I highly recommend one of these picnics! (Also, my friends commented that our picnic was like stepping into an Instagram photo, it’s all so pretty. You will likely hear “ooh’s” and “aah’s” from folks who pass by.) - Maile C.
My husband and I booked a luxe picnic to celebrate my birthday and our first night in Maui. What an amazing experience!!! Christine called me when I submitted an inquiry (nice, personal touch seeing that most things are done via email/text). I told her that we would be celebrating my birthday and I was also pregnant and I absolutely love a good sunset. Christine and Paula planned the most gorgeous picnic, walking distance from the hotel (which she said I would appreciate once jet lag set in, she was right!). They even had cupcakes for my birthday and pasteurized cheeses. The sunset was perfect and they were able to sneak a private photo of us. All in all, it was perfect and I’ve highly recommended Maui Luxe Picnics to family and friends. I’ve included pictures for your review, because I cannot do it justice. Christine and Paula were top notch at every step of the way! Our family headed to Maui to celebrate our ten year anniversary, and wanted to commemorate the celebration with a special picnic on the same location we were married on. They helped bring to life every detail- honoring the colors of our wedding, finding my husband’s favorite cheese, making sure we had gluten free options. No detail was forgotten. They even were gracious enough to help set up a small replica of our wedding cake too. The evening was pure magic, the little personal touches were clearly done with love. Christine and Paula did a wonderful job. They are so friendly and communication was very easy. They accommodated my husband's food allergies (gluten, dairy) without trouble and were super careful about safety and hygiene standards when setting up and tearing down. I saw them wear masks and gloves at all times.
When all was ready they texted me, and we made our way out to our own private backyard picnic. My husband loved it and we had a wonderful time. The drinking coconuts were some of our favorite! So refreshing!
It drizzled a bit but everything held up beautifully, and we ended our picnic with a rainbow. When we were done, the ladies came back to tear down. I trusted them completely being on the property and they did a perfect job leaving everything behind spotless.
We were very happy with the experience! It's much better than doing it yourself in terms of effort in setting up and tearing down, procuring the food and furniture, and styling everything so beautifully. They pay a lot of attention to detail. So it is definitely worth the splurge. In fact, I am already thinking about planning the next picnic, perhaps for my daughters birthday, or my mom's, or just any time friends or family come to visit us. I absolutely love this company! They gave me the picnic of my dreams and absolutely nailed my vision. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Christine and Nicot were both absolutely amazing! It was so romantic and beautiful. They have several add on packages such as musicians, dancers, photographers, etc so you can make your picnic as glam or as chill as you would like. From talking to Christine on the phone to meeting her in person, it was a breeze to surprise my husband for his birthday with a picnic by the water. I never thought to have a luxury picnic on my elopement day because I didn't even know it was a thing! Thank goodness I came across their Instagram one day and after seeing the pictures, how can I not book it?? The setup was absolutely breathtaking and Christine was so helpful through it all! I thought I wanted the location to be at another beach, but I'm so happy with the beach Christine suggested. On the day of, it was high tide and Christine called to let me know that the location might change. She had someone to go check, but thankfully, it was all good and we stuck with the original plan!
