Can you set up anywhere?

We can set up on private properties including residences, rentals, hotels/resorts or venues. Picnics are not permitted on county land or state beaches. Please contact us for a list of our private property partnerships if you need one. We are happy to provide recommendations and help you to find the best fit for your picnic experience.

What if it rains?

"You can plan a pretty picnic but you can't predict the weather."

Luckily on Maui the weather is pretty stable throughout the year. However, in the event of forecasted rain or high winds on your scheduled picnic day, you have the option of changing the location or moving your reservation to another available date. 

Can I bring my own food/beverages?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food. Most of our packages include a gourmet charcuterie board. Every package is customizable and if you prefer to bring your own food, just let us know. You can either add it to the food included or we lower the price of your picnic by taking out the food normally included in the package. All of our picnic packages include sparkling water and you are welcome to bring additional beverages. 

How far in advance should I book?

It's best if you reach out at least one month in advance as we tend to book up quickly. We will always try to accommodate and fit you in but the earlier you reach out, the better the chances you get a picnic on your preferred date. 

Do I need a permit?

According to the Department of Land and Natural Resources and Maui County Park and Recreation, picnics are not permitted for commercial activity on the beaches or parks.

What is your cancellation policy?

After booking, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve the date. There is a full payment penalty for events cancelled within 72 hours. 

In the event of forecasted rain or high winds on your scheduled picnic day, you have the option of changing the location or moving your reservation to another available date. Once we are on our way to the location and you have to cancel for any reason, we won't be able to refund any money.

How many people can you accommodate?

At this point we are able to accommodate up to 50 people with formal seating. For bigger groups it's highly recommended to contact us as early as possible. We will try to accommodate you as best as we can!

Are you going to be there for the time of the picnic?

We will meet you at the location we agreed on to welcome you and give you a few instructions but leave you for the duration of your picnic. Our packages do not include full service but if this is something you are interested in, we are happy to help.
